Speak out: It's an Arctic REFUGE, not an OIL FIELD!

Interior Department:
In the face of our planet’s rising climate crisis, opening new frontiers like the Arctic Refuge to drilling simply makes no sense. Instead of moving forward with drilling, we must protect this land. It belongs to all Americans, is critical to the Porcupine Caribou Herd and the Gwich’in people who continue their subsistence way of life, as they have since time immemorial.

Wild lands like the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge belong to all Americans. We should be able to enjoy them throughout time, and pass these wild experiences on to the next generation. Yet, Congress recently forced through a bill to drill in this largely untouched landscape. Now, pro-drilling allies are continuing to cut corners in this process by rushing to lease the Arctic Refuge to oil and gas companies.

Sign the petition to the Department of the Interior. Say that the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is still in fact a wildlife refuge, and not an oil field.
