Alaska’s wild places are under attack from oil and gas development. Every day it seems there’s another threat to the polar bears, caribou and thousands of other species that call the Arctic home. As these attacks intensify, our champions in Congress have a great opportunity to permanently protect one of our country’s most important wild places for future generations.
The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Wilderness bill would protect the Refuge’s Coastal Plain – the Refuge’s biological heart and center for wildlife. The bill is gaining momentum in Congress, but Senator Gillibrand has not yet cosponsored.
Will you call Senator Gillibrand and ask her to cosponsor the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Wilderness bill, S. 33? Then please report your call here so we can track your impact.
